Wonderful gallery. Well curated collection of der blaue Reiter. Special exhibits are housed in unique space. Free audio guides and coat check. Late opening time. Great place to explore.

Great place to spend time with cosy inner court, vast variety of art from idyllic 19th century landscapes to very-very modern art, and lots of picturesque perspectives to post on instagram

Very nice museum w great collection of Blue Rider artists. Wish there was more attention paid to displaying Lenbach’s paintings. They are in his villa, nice, but badly lit; no postcards of them????

The Lenbachhaus owns more than 1,000 works of "Der Blau Reiter". This is comparable to the exhibitions at Centre Pompidou and Guggenheim. Especially Kandinsky fans will get their money's worth.
